The 2015/16 JW Hunt Cup finalwas played at Molineuxon Wednesday 25th May 2016

                Our thanks to all at Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club.

An excellent final was won for the first time by Midland Premier side Sporting Khalsa. Sporting came from 2-1 down to beat a Wolverhampton who were a credit to the West Midlands League.          

Adrian Hall refereed the JW Hunt Cup Final. His assistants were Chris Lunn and Alex Rowley, with Phil Taylor 4th Official.

NEWS.

GILBERT PREECE "UNSUNG HEROE".

Congratulations  to JW Hunt Cup Vice President Gill Preece  on receiving the football award for services to Darlaston Football Club over 33years. 

The "Unsung Heroe" award was presented to Gill at the Black Country Sport and Physical Activity Awards.

WALTER WAKEMAN.

Congratulations go to JW Hunt Cup stalwart Walter Wakeman on receiving an award from the Referees Association for 30 years service mainly as Training Officer. A tribute evening held for Walter can be accessed from the menu on the left.

Alex Hamil MBE

Congratulations,  Alex was honoured at the February meeting of Wolverhampton Referees Association with the National Referees Association 50 years award. It was presented to him by Birmingham County FA representative Eddie Yardley.

   Jeff Coleman

Auditor of and ex referee with the JW Hunt Cup. Jeff was awarded for 50 years service to football in various capacities with a commemorative medal by the FA. Congratulations Jeff from the JW Hunt Cup committee.
