  CITY COUNCIL AWARD FOR OUR

SECRETARY ALAN RYDER. 

We are pleased to inform you that our long serving Secretary Alan Ryder's work has been recognised by Wolverhampton City Council. 

For his work over many years in football administration with local football club's and the JW Hunt Cup in particular, Alan has been awarded the Wolverhampton City Advisory Sports Council's prestigous "H.E.LANE OBE Memorial Trophy".

The presentation was held on  Tuesday

  November  28th at Fordhouses Cricket Club.

CHEQUE PRESENTATION.

The cheque presentation for season 2016/17 season was made at the Beacon  Centre on Monday 18th September.

All members are invited to attend. 

A cheque for £10000 was presented by by committee members present.An excellent donation in our 91st year.

BLUE PLAQUE UNVEILING.

    The unveiling ceremony of our Blue plaque commemorating the founding of the JW Hunt Cup took place on Thursday 27th July at Molineux's Steve Bull Stand. The unveiling was carried out by Jon Hunt Great Grandson of JW Hunt, Tim Hunt Great Great Grandson and Richard Skirrow former Club Secretary of Wolverhampton Wanderers FC
